Experience service terms

Using our services and confirming your booking

These terms explain the conditions for activities and experiences booked through the official Momiji Biyori website, operated by Suita Biyori. You can find each activity’s programme, price, meeting place and time, and participation requirements on its page and booking screen.
Prepaid bookings are confirmed once payment and capacity have been verified and the booking status is Confirmed. For pay-on-site and free activities, bookings are confirmed once your application is completed, capacity is secured and the status is Confirmed.
Park admission is separate from experience fees. If you book through another platform, its conditions apply; please review them when booking.

Contact details and safe participation

Please enter the lead participant’s correct name, email address and a telephone number where we can reach you. A parent or guardian’s consent is required for minors. If you have concerns about health or safety, please get in touch before your visit.
On the day, please follow the staff’s safety guidance and the park rules, and arrive at the stated meeting time. If you arrive late, we may need to shorten the experience or be unable to accommodate your participation so that other guests’ bookings are not delayed.

Looking after your valuables and belongings

Please look after your money, phone, camera, valuables and other belongings. As we do not provide valuables storage, we ask that you keep these items with you and take care of them throughout your visit.
If loss, theft or damage involves intentional conduct, negligence or other legal responsibility on the part of the organiser or service provider, we will respond in accordance with applicable law. Loss, theft or damage for which the organiser is not legally at fault is outside the scope of compensation.

Safety during activities and handling incidents

During photo walks, photography, rickshaw rides and other activities, please take care of your footing and surroundings and follow the staff’s guidance.
Where the organiser or service provider is responsible under law, including for intentional conduct, negligence or injury, we will respond in accordance with applicable law. Subject to that responsibility, accidents for which the organiser or provider is not legally at fault, and losses caused by a participant’s own actions, are outside the scope of compensation by the organiser. This provision does not remove any liability imposed by law.

Cancellations and refunds requested by guests

If your plans change, please let us know through My bookings or the contact form. For cancellations made at your request, the following conditions apply according to when we receive your request. All times are Japan time.
・By 23:59 three calendar days before the activity: a 100% refund of the experience fee.
・From two days before the activity until 23:59 on the previous day: a 50% cancellation fee and a 50% refund.
・On the activity day, or if you do not attend without contacting us: a 100% cancellation fee.
For example, a 10 November booking is fully refundable until 23:59 on 7 November, and 50% refundable on 8–9 November.
Cancellation fees will not exceed the average loss permitted by law; any excess will not be charged. We can explain the outline of the calculation on request.

Changing your booking and receiving a refund

Changes to an equally priced plan requested at least three days before the activity are free of charge, subject to availability. Please tell us your preferred date and time through the contact form. A change is confirmed when accepted by the organiser.
Refunds are normally processed through the original payment method, with no additional refund fee. The time taken to appear in your account or statement depends on the payment provider or card issuer. After you submit a cancellation request, the necessary checks and refund processing still need to take place; submitting the request does not itself complete the refund.

When the organiser or provider needs to cancel

If an activity cannot take place because of a provider’s illness, an accident, venue circumstances or similar reasons, we will promptly contact booked guests by email, telephone or another suitable method and publish an update in Latest news on the website.
We will refund the fees for any services that cannot be delivered. If the whole activity is cancelled, the fees for all undelivered services will be refunded. Where the organiser is not legally at fault, our response is generally limited to these refunds; travel, accommodation and other incidental costs are outside the scope of compensation.
If intentional conduct, negligence or other circumstances give rise to legal liability on the part of the organiser or provider, we will respond in accordance with applicable law. This provision does not limit that liability.

Guidance for rain and severe weather

When rain, severe weather, a disaster or another safety concern arises, we will decide together with you, through consultation, whether to proceed, postpone, change or cancel the activity. We may contact you directly, and you are also welcome to contact us through the inquiry form if you are concerned. If rain makes you unsure about attending, please consult us before deciding not to come.
If the rickshaw part is cancelled because of rain, its fee will be refunded. Other experiences remain booked if they can go ahead. If the whole activity is cancelled, fees for all undelivered services will be refunded.
This consultation process does not restrict any cancellation or refund rights you have under applicable law.

Photographs, personal information and revisions

We use booking details and contact information to manage and provide services, contact you urgently, process payments and refunds, and answer inquiries. We ask for separate consent before publishing photographs on social media or elsewhere. Agreeing to these terms does not by itself give permission to publish your photographs. Please see our Privacy policy for details.
If these terms are revised, we will publish the date and content of the revision. Changes will not be applied unilaterally to the disadvantage of existing bookings. If any part conflicts with mandatory law, that part will not apply; the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

Revised: 20 October 2026
