| Additional costs | General admission to Expo ’70 Commemorative Park (Natural and Cultural Gardens and Japanese Garden): ¥450 for high-school students and older; free for junior-high-school students and younger. Admission is not included in the experience price. Travel, parking if used, and internet or mobile data costs are paid by the customer. Any paid options or extensions will be explained and agreed before being added. There is no shipping fee for these experience bookings or digital photo delivery. |
| Payment methods | Advance payment: credit card through Stripe Checkout. PayPay is currently awaiting approval; it will be available after approval and setup, when offered on the checkout screen. Pay on site: experiences marked as cash payment, including the bonsai workshop, are paid in cash at the venue. Free activities require no payment. |
| Payment timing and deadline | For prepaid experiences, complete payment when booking. If a deadline is shown on the payment screen, please complete payment by that time. An unpaid temporary slot hold may expire. For pay-on-site experiences, pay at reception on the day of your visit. For kimono coordination requests, payment is requested only after you accept the coordinated plan. |
| Booking confirmation | A prepaid booking is confirmed when payment and availability have been checked and its status becomes “Confirmed”. Cash-on-site and free bookings are confirmed when a place has been secured, the application is completed successfully and the status becomes “Confirmed”. Up to 5 guests per photo group may request kimono dressing and rental. For 3 or more kimono guests, our team coordinates staffing and timing with you by email. Sending a request does not confirm a reservation, charge a fee or hold a slot. After coordination, review and accept the proposed date, price and individual schedule before paying. The booking is confirmed once availability and payment are verified. |
| When and where services are provided | Your experience takes place on the date, at the time and at the venue you book during 7–29 November 2026. Activity pages and booking details show available dates, meeting points, reception times and duration. |
| Photograph delivery | Portrait-session photographs are supplied as JPEG files. Normally within 14 days of the shoot, we email the files or instructions for receiving them to your registered address. If a delay is expected, we will explain the reason and expected delivery date. |
| Application period and capacity | You may book dates and times open for booking on each activity’s reservation screen. Full or closed slots cannot be selected. Activity pages and booking screens explain availability, age limits, group sizes, items to bring and other participation conditions. |
| Technical requirements | An internet-connected smartphone or computer, a browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, and an email address able to receive verification codes and booking messages are required. To receive photos, you need a device that can view and save JPEG files with enough storage. Use of PayPay also requires a supported PayPay environment. |

Cancellations, changes and refunds
Paid experience cancellations follow the current Experience Service Terms below, based on when we receive your request. If an activity has different conditions, these will be explained on its page and booking screen before you apply.
| When we receive your request | Cancellation fee and refund |
|---|---|
| By 23:59, three calendar days before the activity | No cancellation fee; a full refund of the prepaid experience fee. |
| Two days before until 23:59 on the day before | 50% cancellation fee; a 50% refund of the prepaid experience fee. |
| On the day, or a no-show without notice | 100% cancellation fee; no refund. |
For example, a booking on 10 November is fully refundable for requests received by 23:59 on 7 November, and 50% refundable on 8 or 9 November. Cancellation charges will not exceed the average loss permitted by law. There is no cancellation fee for free activities. For cash-on-site or variable-price experiences, only the amounts and conditions explained and agreed before booking apply.
How to contact us: use the change/cancellation request in My Reservations or our contact form, giving your reservation number, name and activity date. You may also use the email or telephone contact above. Outside telephone hours, please use email or the form. We will review your request and let you know the outcome.
Date changes: for requests made at least three days before the activity, changes to an equally priced plan are free of charge if a place is available. A change takes effect when we confirm it.
Refund method: refunds are normally returned to the original payment method, without a refund handling fee. For cash payments or where the original method cannot be used, we will agree a refund method with you. Submitting a request does not itself complete the refund; we process it after checking the request. The time until it appears in your account depends on the payment provider or card issuer.
Cancellation by the organiser or service provider: we refund the portion that cannot be provided. If the whole experience is cancelled, all fees for unprovided services are refunded. Decisions due to rain or severe weather are communicated according to the activity’s guidance. This disclosure does not limit liability that the organiser or provider has under applicable law.
Service issues, returns and exchanges
Because these are experiences and digital photographs, we do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds solely for a change of mind after a service or files have been correctly supplied. If a service was not provided, a photo file cannot be opened, or the supplied content does not match the contract, please contact us. After checking the issue, we will arrange appropriate re-performance, correction or re-delivery, or refund the affected fee, in accordance with the contract and applicable law.
Experiences are delivered in cooperation with the providers named on their activity pages. Paddle Co., Ltd. is the contact for bookings and payments accepted in its name on this website. Providers also bear responsibility according to their work, contractual duties and the cause of any issue. Food and goods bought directly from venue vendors are transactions with those vendors; their displayed prices, payment methods and return conditions apply.
